Pair Remote to DTA in RF mode

HDuDTA1.jpg Pair your remote control with your DTA allowing you to place the device out of sight (in an entertainment center or behind your TV, for example)

Once your remote is paired to a specific DTA, it will not control any other set-top box in your home
 
  1. Press [MENU]. Wait for the on-screen menu to come up
     
  2. Select Settings towards the bottom of the menu
     
  3. Select Remote Control and then select Remote Control Pairing
     
  4. Press and hold [Setup] until the LED Indicator turns green
     
  5. Press [MENU]. Wait for the on-screen menu to come up
     
  6. Proceed by entering the pairing code displayed in blue on the pairing code pop-up screen
     
Note: If you don’t see a pairing code screen, repeat steps 1 and 2  
Removing Remote Control Pairing If you would like your remote to control a different set-top box, you must first un-pair it from the original one.  
  1. Press and hold the Setup button until the LED Indicator turns green
     
  2. Enter 9-8-7 on the remote control
     
  3. The LED Indicator will blink green twice
 

Program by TV Brand Code

HDuDTA1.jpg Note: The remote control operates a Sony TV by default. If you have a Sony TV, point the remote control at the TV and press the power button. If the TV operates, there is no need to program the remote control.
 
  1. Manually turn on the TV
     
  2. Press and hold [Setup] until the LED Indicator turns green
     
  3. Enter the 5-digit device code. The LED will flash green twice

    TV 
     
  4. Press [TV Power]. If the TV turns off, the remote is now programmed to operate the TV
     
  5. Turn the TV back on and make sure that [VOL▲/VOL▼] and mute buttons work. If not repeat steps 1-4 using the enter the next code listed under the TV brand
     
    • Please be certain to try all codes listed per your TV’s manufacturer
 

Can't Find Your Code?

HDuDTA1.jpg Follow the steps below to search for your code:
 
  1. Manually turn on the TV
     
  2. Press and hold [Setup] until the LED Indicator turns green
     
  3. Press [A]
     
  4. Point the Remote Control to the TV and press [CH▲]  once every 2 seconds until the TV turns off
     
  5. Once the TV turns off, Press [Setup]. THE LED will blink green twice if successfully stored
 

Volume Control

  1. Press and hold [Setup] until the LED Indicator turns green
     
  2. Press [VOL▲]. 
    To force remote control to send volume control commands to the DTA
 
  1. Press and hold [Setup] until the LED Indicator turns green
     
  2. Press [VOL▲

Resetting The Remote

HDuDTA1.jpg If you would like to use your remote control for a different set-top box, you must first un-pair the remote control from the current device. 
 
  1. Press and hold [Setup] until the LED Indicator turns green
     
  2. Enter 9-8-7 on the remote control
     
  3. The LED Indicator will blink green twice. the same
     
  4. Try programming the remote again using the steps above
