Change Webmail Password Online

Password Criteria

  • Password must be between 6-8 characters in length

  • Must begin with a letter or a number

  • Can contain any printable character found on the keyboard

  • The password is case sensitive
 

Change Password Online (astound.net only)

You do not need to know the current password 
  1. Go to Astound.com 
     
  2. Choose Webmail  
     
  3. Choose astound.net 
     
  4. On log in page, find the Change Password option

Change Password in MyAstound (astound.net accounts)

You do not need to know the current password 
  1. Log in to MyAstound Selfcare
     
  2. Click the Accounts drop menu and select Webmail links 
     
  3. In the Change Email Passwords area, select the email address from the drop down list
     
  4. Enter the new password twice and Submit

  5. Password changes take effect in less than 5 minutes
 

Change Password in Usertools (rcn.com, starpower.net, erols.com accounts)

Important: you must know the old password  

  1. Go to Usertools  
     
  2. Enter the current user name and password  
     
  3. Enter the new password twice  

  4. Password changes take effect in less than 5 minutes

Select your email at https://www.astound.com/support/email/ and follow the forgot password options provided
