BT vs. RF
-
|
BlueTooth (BT) and Radio Frequency (RF) remotes do not require a direct line of sight; they can control a DVR anywhere within a radius of approximately 30 feet. A BlueTooth receiver, also known as a BT Dongle is needed for BT remotes unless the TiVo device has a built-in BT receiver (4K models).
- Identifying a BT vs. RF remote:
- If Last is printed in blue, the remote is a BlueTooth Remote
- If Last is printed in white, the remote is an RF Remote
