Turn on the equipment you wish to program. (TV, VCR, or DVD)
Press [TV] ( or [VCR]) and [SELECT] simultaneously for 3 seconds. The device LED will turn on indicating the unit is ready to be programmed
[TV] ( or [VCR]) key will stay lit for 20 seconds. The next step must be entered while the LED is on
Point the remote control toward the equipment and enter the three-digit code number assigned to your brand from the code tables. The equipment will turn off when the correct three-digit code number has been entered.

Verify you have selected the correct code by pressing the [MUTE] button, the equipment should turn on or turn off
Press [TV] ( or [VCR]) again. The device LED will blink twice to confirm that the code has been stored
Please Note:
Try all the functions on the remote control. If any of the functions do not work as they should, repeat from Step 2 using the next three-digit code number from the same brand list. Make sure that the VCR/VOD key is in the VCR position when using your VCR
For TV/VCR combination unit, Please set up TV code number in the TV mode to operate the volume, Set up VCR code number in the VCR mode to operate the VCR functions.
Auto Search Method
If the three-digit code numbers assigned to your brand do not turn off your equipment or the code tables do not list your brand, you can use the Auto Search Method to find the correct three-digit code number for your equipment by the following steps:
Turn on the equipment you wish to operate
Press [TV] ( or [VCR]) and [SELECT] simultaneously for 3 seconds. The device LED will turn on
The device LED will light on for 20 seconds. The next step must be entered while LED is on
Point the remote control toward the equipment, press [CH▲], then [MUTE] repeatedly until the equipment turns off
Verify that you selected the correct code by pressing [MUTE] again. The equipment should either turn on or turn off
Press [TV] (or [VCR]) key to store the code. The Device LED will blink twice to confirm that the code has been stored
Code Number Readback
Press [TV] ( or [VCR]) and [SELECT] simultaneously for 3 seconds
The device LED will light on for 20 seconds. The next step must be entered while LED is on
Press [INFO]. The device LED will blink number of times indicating the number of each digit of the code number
Each digit is separated by 1 second. Ten blinks is equal to the number 0
For example, 108 will be: One blink, [one second off], ten blinks, [one second off], eight blinks
Programming a Second TV to VCR key
Press [VCR] and [SELECT] simultaneously for 3 seconds. The device LED will turn on
The device LED will light on for 20 seconds. The next step must be entered while LED is on
Press [TV] to pick up the TV code table
Point the remote control toward the equipment and enter the three-digit code number assigned to your TV brand from the code tables. The equipment will turn off when the correct three-digit code number has been entered.

Press [VCR] once again. The device LED will blink twice to confirm that the code has been stored
Programming the System On/Off Button
The System on/off button can send out up to three power on/off commands for the devices you programmed into the remote control
Press [CBL]
Press [System On/Off] and [SELECT] simultaneously for 3 seconds. The [CBL] button will turn on for 20 seconds
Press [TV]
Press [VCR] (if adding)
Press [CH▲] to save the power commands you stored. The [CBL] button will blink twice to confirm
Volume Control
When in [CBL] mode, the default volume control is through your TV. If you wish to control the Convertervolume control instead, use the following steps
Press [CBL] and [SELECT] simultaneously for 3 seconds
[CBL] will light on for 20 seconds. The next step must be entered while the LED is on
Press [VOL▲]
Press [CBL]. [CBL] will blink twice to confirm the programming
To restore the volume control back to your TV in CBL mode, repeat the above steps by pressing [TV] in Step 3
Low Battery Warning
When the battery is low, the remote control LED blinks 2 times whenever a [Device] button is pressed to turn on equipment.
Memory Lock
This remote control is designed to retain programmed memory for 10 years even after batteries are removed from the remote control.
