Programming Your TV
Turn on your TV
Press [OK], then [MUTE] together - hold both buttons down until the [TV] and [CBL] (power) buttons illuminate together
From the Setup Code list below, locate and enter the 4-digit code for your brand and model
If you cannot find your code, you can use Point and Press Programming
Every time you input a code, the [TV] and [CBL] (power) buttons will blink twice and stay on
If the TV turns off, continue to the next step
If not, keep entering the 4-digit codes until the converter turns off, then continue to the next step
Press [MUTE]
If your TV turns back on, press [OK] to lock in the code. The [TV] and [CBL] (power) buttons will blink 3 times and go out
If your TV does not turn back on, repeat steps 3 and 4 until you can turn your TV off and on<
Try the [VOL UP], [VOL DOWN] and [MUTE] buttons to make sure the proper code for this model was locked in
If [VOL UP], [VOL DOWN] and/or [MUTE] do not work, repeat steps 1-4 using a different setup code

Programming TV with Point and Press Programming
To program (setup) the remote to operate your TV:
Turn on your TV
Press [OK], then [MUTE] together - hold both buttons down until the [TV] and [CBL] (power) buttons illuminate together
Press and hold the [CH +] button until the TV turns off. Every time the [TV] and [CBL] (power) buttons blink once, the remote is trying a different code
It may take seconds or several minutes for the remote to find the proper code for your device. Be patient, and be ready to release the [CH +] button when the device turns off
As soon as the TV turns off, proceed to the next step
Press [MUTE]
If your TV turns back on, press [OK] to lock in the code. The mode (power) buttons will blink 3 times and go out
If your TV does not run back on, try pressing [CH -] one step at a time until that device turns back on. Each time you press the [CH -] button, the [TV] and [CBL] (power) buttons blink once
Once you have found the proper code, press [OK] to lock in the code
Code Number Readback
To identify the 4-digit setup code for your TV, follow these steps:
Press [TV], then [OK] - hold both down until the [TV] button lights up under finger
Press [INFO]. The illuminated button will “blink back” the code number, with a 1-second interval between each digit of the code
Note: The remote will display the number "0" as the mode buttons all quickly blinking in sequence (CBL, TV)

Programming Volume Control
By default, your volume/mute is controlled through your TV
To control volume/mute through your converter:
Press [OK], then [CBL] together - hold both down until the [CBL] button lights up (under finger)
Press [VOL +], then [CBL]. The [CBL] button will blink and go out
To control volume / mute back through your TV:
Press [OK], then [CBL] together - hold both down until the [CBL] button lights up (under finger)
Press [VOL +], then [TV]. The [CBL] button will blink and go out.
Your Remote's [CBL] Button
Once you have programmed the remote to operate your TV as well as your converter, you can press the [CBL] button to turn your converter and TV on and off with one button press.
Programming and using the [CBL] button
Press [CBL] then [MENU] buttons together until the [CBL] button blinks two times
The [CBL] button will now send a power signal to the cable set-top, immediately followed by a power signal to the TV with one button press
The steps above will undo this as well
Installing / Replacing Batteries
Install two (2) "AAA" batteries as indicated by the diagram in the battery compartment. Be careful to properly match the "+ / -" ends of the batteries with the diagram in the battery compartment.
When the batteries become too weak to operate the remote control properly, the mode keys will become dim or not illuminate at all during use. When this happens, install 2 new "AAA" size batteries.
Your remote control has Memory Guard®, which eliminates reprogramming after battery changes.
General Reset
The remote can be reset to its factory default settings if needed.
Press [OK], then [CBL] together until the [CBL] button lights up (under finger)
Press [1]
The [CBL] button will blink 3 times and go out. All codes will now be CLEARED
