- This screen may be seen after an IPTV update, and the steps to resolved are slightly different from those below

About Your Remote Control

- This remote runs on BlueTooth technology and works through walls and even around corners
- If the remote only works in direct sight of the box, and voice commands don't work, the remote is not paired
- The remote is normally paired with your TiVo Android TV device during initial setup
- Only one remote is paired with one IPTV box at a time

Your TiVo S6A Remote supports voice control using Google Assistant

Press the Google Assistant button on your remote to search what’s on now, change channels, record a show, open apps, and more

Your TiVo S6A Remote needs to be paired to the TiVo Android TV device for this to work

Remote Control Pairing Instructions

- Hold the TiVo button and the Back buttons down simultaneously until the led turns red
- Release the buttons and the remote will begin pairing (slow blink Amber)
- Continue to hold the remote in front of the IPTV box. The led will fast blink amber 5 times to signal it has paired successfully
- Note: If the remote is not pairing you may need to temporarily unplug other Bluetooth devices until after the remote has paired to the IPTV
Trouble Pairing?
- Reboot the IPTV box using the reset button found under the equipment
- You can use a paper clip to reach the button, if needed
- If the remote is still not paired, repeat the steps above

Helpful Tips for Controlling Devices
Program a Device Manually:
- From TiVo Home | left arrow to Menu | Settings | Remote Settings
- Select Remote Control Programming
- Follow the on-screen instructions to program the remote to each device

Voice Control Does Not Work
- Your TiVo S6A Remote needs to be paired to the TiVo Android TV device for this to work

TV Displaying Input Banner with Wrong Button Press
- Certain TVs respond to discrete commands differently
- In some cases, disabling the CEC feature helps prevent the Input Banner from displaying
- Check the One-Touch button setup in the Remotes and Accessories menu
- Ensure the IR One-Touch is set to OFF
TV or AV Device Doesn't Respond to Remote
- See Configuring TV and AV devices for instructions
- Be sure to have a clear line of sight from the remote to the device
- Signals to the TV are IR and will not work through walls, around corners, etc
