Troubleshooting TiVo My Account

 

Forgot Email Used to Register

  1. Click the Email address not on file link below the Sign In button on the My Account page
     
  2. Follow the onscreen instructions on the Add My Email Address to My Account page
     
  3. If you are still having difficulty, please contact us
 

Forgot Password

  1. Click the Forgot your Password? link below the Sign In button on the My Account page

  2. Enter the email address used to register on the Send Me My Password page to send a temporary password to that email address​​​​​​

    • If you have a Spam blocker, adjust the settings so emails from tivo.com are allowed

  3. Copy and paste the temporary password on the My Account login screen with no spaces before or after the password

  4. Enter a new permanent password when prompted
 

Multiple Temporary Password Emails Received

Received Multiple Temporary Password Emails or a Temporary Password Email that wasn't Requested

  1. The Submit button may have been clicked more than once when requesting a temporary password

  2. There may be someone else in the household who requested a temporary password (spouse, son, daughter, roommate, etc.)

  3. Try to log in to My Account using the most recently sent temporary password

  4. If this password does not work, please contact us
 

Enter the TiVo MyAccount Passphrase

Entering the Pass Phrase for the TiVo My Account Online

  1. In the email from TiVo, click on the link and enter the pass phrase to set up a password for your TiVo My Account online

  2. If you are still having difficulty, please contact us
