TiVo Suggestions

TiVo Suggestions are personalized shows selected to match your preferences

• TiVo Suggestions are only available boxes running TiVo Experience 3: 
  
  
  • 2 Tuners, 4 Tuners, Single Tuners, Mini (1)


• TiVo Suggestions are set to record when there is space by default


• From the data it compiles, TiVo suggests shows to you based on your viewing and Thumbs Up ratings


• Requested TiVo recordings take priority over TiVo Suggestions


• If there are no tuners available, TiVo Suggestions will not record

Delete by Program

• Go to TiVo Central | My Shows | Suggestions (see steps)  


• Select a program to delete from the list


• Press the Clear button on the TiVo remote

Delete by Folder

1. Go to TiVo Central | My Shows | select Recordings


2. Scroll down to Suggestions Recorded for Me and press Clear


3. Select Delete Everything in this Group


4. All suggestions will be erased (see steps)

Delete All Suggestions at Once

1. Go to TiVo Central | My Shows | Suggestions (see steps)


2. Select a folder to delete from the list


3. Press the Clear button on the TiVo remote


4. Select Delete Everything in this Group

Not available on TiVo Mini; these use Suggestions from the Host TiVo 

1. The Suggestions folder remains in My Shows, even when Suggestions are turned off


2. Go to TiVo Central | Settings and Messages | Settings | Recording | TiVo Suggestions  (see steps)
   
   
   • Yes, record when there is space: TiVo Suggestions record when hard drive space is available
   
   
   • Don't record TiVo Suggestions: TiVo Suggestions remain, but are not recorde 


3. Press Select to confirm changes

When a tuner is available, and TiVo Suggestions are not recording

1. Turn TiVo Suggestion recording off then restart the TiVo


2. Turn TiVo Suggestion recording back on then restart the TiVo


3. TiVo Suggestions may take up to 24 hours to begin recording following a restart
