Changing IPTV and TiVo Recording Options

IPTV & Tivo - How to Record Programming

 

IPTV - Changing Single Program Options

  • TiVo Home| left arrow to  Menu | To Do List (see steps)
     
  • Highlight and select the show you want to modify
     
  • Choose Modify Recording | Recording Options

  • Modify the following options as needed:

    • Time and channel

    • Keep Until:

      • Space needed

      • As long as possible

    • Start recording:

      • On Time

      • 1-5 minutes early

      • 10 minutes early

    • Stop recording:

      • On Time

      • 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, or 30 minutes longer

      • 1 hour longer

      • 1 1/2 hours longer

      • 3 hours longer

 

IPTV - Change or Delete OnePass

  1. TiVo Home | left arrow to Menu | OnePass Manager  (see steps)

  2. Highlight and select the show you want to modify

  3. Choose One Pass Info and choose one of the following:

    • Modify Options:

      • Change the Options as needed:

        • Include:
          • Recordings and streaming videos

          • Recordings only

          • Streaming videos only

        • Start from (select the season you would like to start)

          • Rent or buy 

          • Include (if streaming videos are selected)

          • Don't include (if Recordings only is selected)

        • Record:

          • Everything

          • New and reruns

          • New Only

        • Channel:

          • Select a specific channel, or All

        • Keep at most:

          • 1-5, 10, 25 or All Recordings

        • Keep Until:

          • Space needed

          • As long as possible

        • Start recording:

          • On Time

          • 1-5 minutes early

          • 10 minutes early

        • Stop recording:

          • On Time

          • 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 10, or 30 minutes longer

          • 1 hour longer

          • 1 1/2 hours longer

          • 3 hours longer

  4. Press Select three times to confirm

  5. Select Use these OnePass Options

  6. Cancel this OnePass to delete the OnePass

  7. Explore this show to see additional information about this show
 

IPTV - Deleting Recorded Shows

Individual Show

  • Select a show, scroll right to highlight the X to delete the show

  • Press OK/Select and the show is deleted from the list

 

Entire Folder

  • Select a folder, then select OnePass Options on the left

  • Select Delete all episodes and select from the list of options
     
    • Delete Everything in this group: future recordings continue based on OnePass options; streaming video appears once a show is recorded
       
    • Delete recordings and replace with bookmarks: future recordings continue based on OnePass options; streaming videos will appear to replace recordings (depending on availability)
       
    • Delete recordings and replace with bookmarks: All recordings delete, only available streaming content (VOD, Netflix, Hulu, etc) will display. TiVo will continue to record future shows based on OnePass options
       
    • Delete everything and cancel this OnePass: delete the recordings and ensure the folder doesn't reappear with streaming video or future recording

  • TiVo Central | Manage Recording and OnePass | To Do List 
  • Highlight and select the show you want to modify
     
  • Choose Modify Recording | Recording Options
     
  • Change the Recording Options as needed, then press Select three times to confirm

 

4K 6 Tuners, 6 Tuners , 4K Minis, and Minis on TiVo Experience 4

  • TiVo Home| left arrow to  Menu | To Do List  (see steps)
     
  • Highlight and select the show you want to modify
     
  • Choose Modify Recording | Recording Options
     
  • Change the Recording Options as needed, then press OK or A button to confirm

 

 

 

TiVo - Change or Delete OnePass

4 Tuners, 2 Tuners, Single Tuners, and Minis on TiVo Experience 3

  • TiVo Central | Manage Recording and OnePass | OnePass Manager (see steps)
  • Highlight and select the show you want to modify

  • Choose One Pass Info and choose one of the following:
    • Modify Options:
      1. Change the Recording Options as needed, then press Select three times to confirm
      2. Select Use these OnePass Options
    • Cancel this OnePass to delete the OnePass
    • Explore this show to see additional information about this show

 

4K 6 Tuners, 6 Tuners , 4K Minis, and Minis on TiVo Experience 4

  • TiVo Home | left arrow to Menu | Manage | OnePass Manager (see steps)

  • Highlight and select the show you want to modify

  • Choose One Pass Info and choose one of the following:
    • Modify Options:
      1. Change the Recording Options as needed, then press Select three times to confirm
      2. Select Use these OnePass Options
    • Cancel this OnePass to delete the OnePass
    • Explore this show to see additional information about this show
