- Go to TiVo Central | Settings and Messages | Parental Controls | Hide Adult Content
4K 6 Tuners, 6 Tuners , 4K Minis, and Minis on TiVo Experience 4
- Go to TiVo Home | left arrow to Menu | Settings | Parental & Purchase Controls | Hide Adult Content

- Press Menu and then press the left arrow button to show Locking Status
- Press Select to go to the General Settings Preferences screen
- Press Select again to choose Locking Status
- Press the down arrow button to highlight On, then press Select
- Press Select and arrow up to highlight Always and press Select again
- Press the up arrow button to scroll to Locked Ratings; Adult and NC-17 are already selected
- To lock more ratings, press Select to lock more options; press the left arrow button to go back in the menu
- Press the left arrow button to go back and see
- Parental Control Locking Status is On
- Locked ratings include NR(Adult)
- Hide Adult Titles is set to Always
- Press the Guide button to see that the adult titles will now show Title Blocked

- Press the Menu button 2x
- Select Setup (usually on the second page of options)
- Select Parental Control Setup
- If you haven't created a PIN, you must do so

- Select TV Ratings, or Movie Ratings to set a ratings control
- Select Title Locks to lock specific titles
- Choose Hide Titles to hide racy or mature titles
- The guide shows Adult Programming or TV MA Programming instead of the actual titles
- Accessing a channel with adult programming will prompt for a PIN
