Getting Started with Smart Home

Smart Home Login Information

  • In a web browser go to wavebroadband.com/mysmarthome

  • Enter the login name and password to login

  • After logging in the main overview page appears
 

Manage Notifications

  • Login to the Smart Home customer portal

  • Click Notifications on the left side of the Home screen

  • On the right, click on the button that corresponds to the notification to turn On or Off
 

Customer Equipment View

  • This tab on the left side navigation panel displays the devices and sensors on the Customer's Smart Home Account

  • Options for changing settings and remote power cycle vary by device

  • The tab opens the overview with all the equipment; the top menu options displays by type of sensor or sensor group
 

Event History

  • The Event History tab on the left side of the navigation panel shows events that are communicated to and from Alarm.com

  • It displays events being communicated by devices and sensors on the Smart Home Panel

  • There are also separate tabs for account and login history
 

Update Login Email

To update the login email:

  • Login to the Smart Home account page from the wavebroadband.com/mysmarthome site

  • Click on the Settings option on the left, and the Login Information option from there

  • Click on the Email Address option and make the needed changes
 

Reset My Monitoring Station Passcode Online

  • After login, select Settings in the left-hand navigation bar

  • Select Monitoring Station

  • Update the Passcode section

  • Click the blue update button to save
