 The Adtran 601qv is a simple Optical Network Terminal (ONT) with just one 2.5GE port. While this may seem limiting at first, it still retains all of the data and video functionality expected from a carrier-class product, and allows service providers to leverage existing residential gateway vendors.

Label Action Description
POWER Solid/Flashing

Off- power unavailable

Green solid - power is on,  self-test passed, normal operation

Green flashing - unit is powering up
LAN  Solid/Flashing Off- Ethernet not connected

Green solid - Ethernet connected, no activity

Green flashing - Ethernet connected, operational, transmitting data
Optical  Solid/Flashing Green solid - ranged, authenticated, and configured with services

Green flashing slow - synchronization process is in progress

Green flashing fast- ranged and authenticated but not configured with services

Red solid- down; loss of signal
 Voice (POTS) Solid/Flashing Green solid - on hook, not ringing

Green - on hook, not ringing

Green flashing -  line is ringing
